What: The Rochester People’s Climate Coalition (RPCC) andLeague of Women Voters (LWV) will host a nonpartisan candidate forum focused on strategies for transitioning our area to a “green” economy for the purpose of mitigating and adapting to climate change. At the forum, candidates running for local office within Monroe County will describe how they plan to exercise the authority of their office to promote green jobs and work toward a sustainable future.  This event presents a unique opportunity for voters to learn how candidates’ platforms relate to climate change solutions.
